Accommodation
WEX1 offers studio and one-bedroom accommodation suitable for one or two adults. All apartments feature an open-plan kitchen and living area with dining room table, sofa and TV cabinet, a glass-partitioned sleeping area with a super-comfy queen-sized bed, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower.
Most of the apartments offer amazing mountain or city views, and many have balconies from which to enjoy the vista.
Of special interest is the funky decor of the WEX1 apartments, either urban or jungle-themed, each apartment selected by an award-winning interior designer and with furniture sourced from local craftsmen in the Woodstock area.
Amenities
WEX1 is generously endowed with on-premise amenities. The star of the show is the pool deck and bar on the fourth floor, a great place to cool off while enjoying a craft beer or a cocktail and amazing views of Signal Hill and the city.
The fourth floor also offers a well-equipped gym, pool and fuzeball tables, inviting co-working space and a unique “pause pod”, vibrantly decorated by a local artist.
On the ground floor of the building are three restaurants, a supermarket, ATM and bottle store.

Woodstock is a unique transitional suburb of Cape Town. It’s where artisanal breweries, alternative art galleries, dodgy tattoo parlours, backstreet jewellery joints, and gorgeous gin bars rub shoulders with pimp-my-ride panel beaters and recycled furniture shops.
Must-visit attractions in the immediate vicinity include the Woodstock Exchange which comprises of a quirky mix of restaurants, coffee bars, boutiques and salons as well as The Old Biscuit Mill, an eclectic collection of arts and crafts outlets, fine food (including Luke Dale-Roberts internationally regarded Test Kitchen) and Cape Towns most popular neighbourhood market.
There is also an exotic variety of restaurants and eateries in the area, catering for every taste from Asian and Mexican to Moroccan and Middle Eastern.
